TikTok Integration

The House of Sassy app (“The House of Sassy”) integrates with TikTok through the TikTok for Developers platform to display TikTok video content on our website at https://thehouseofsassy.co.za. This integration uses the TikTok Login Kit and Display API.

When you connect your TikTok account to The House of Sassy app, we access the following information via the TikTok API:

Basic profile information (display name, avatar) associated with your TikTok account
A list of your public TikTok videos, including video titles, thumbnails, and view counts

This data is used solely to display your TikTok videos in a carousel on The House of Sassy website. We do not share your TikTok data with third parties, and we do not store your TikTok videos — video content is fetched directly from TikTok servers and cached temporarily (up to 12 hours) to improve performance.

You may disconnect your TikTok account from The House of Sassy app at any time by contacting us at monrayvanhuyssteen02@icloud.com. Upon disconnection, all stored access tokens and cached data will be deleted.
